Remember when “First Wives Club” opened with a smash and geoerated all that talk thnt Goldie Hawn, Diane Keaton and Bette Midler would get back together for a sequel ? Well, it’s beginning to look like that’s all it was – idle talk.
In any event, we’re told that no concrete action has been taken on “ Wives 2.” and insiders now say they really don’t expect the sequel ever to happen.
There have been reports on a project that would at least reteam Keaton and Hawn, but it seems that such a deal was never finalized.
